When Tung Oil is applied to wood with an open grain, it may seep. In this case, dry wipe again if oil droplets are observed on the wood surface.
For a smoother and more even finish, lightly sand between coats with 600 or 800 grit sandpaper.

The greatest advantage of oil in wood treatment lies in its ease of maintenance and repair. The key to well-maintained oiled wood is prevention. The longer the interval between treatments, the longer the longer the process will take. When SECONDO CLEAN and SECONDO MAINTENANCE products are no longer sufficient to keep your oiled wood in good condition, it’s a sign that it’s time to consider applying a new layer of oil.
Keep the product in a sealed container at a temperature between 10°C and 25°C for storage. Under these conditions, the product will maintain its quality for at least 5 years.
If the product has been exposed to cold temperatures, allow it to return to room temperature for 24 hours before using.
After use, soak the rags in water or lay them flat to dry before disposal.
Wipe off any liquid residue before recycling the container.
Any leftover product should be brought to your municipality’s eco-center.
