Pareo Prep is a biodegradable and vegetation-safe cleaner designed to prepare outdoor wooden surfaces before applying a Prato-Verde product, enhancing adhesion. Pareo Prep is also formulated to whiten weathered outdoor woods. It effectively removes dirt, mould stains, and algae.

Usage

Exterior : Ideal for deep cleaning and whitening decks, siding, docks, fences, structures, garden furniture, doors, windows, playground equipment, flower boxes, and other outdoor wood projects.

Tips

The product is ineffective on wet surfaces; ensure that the surface to be treated remains dry.

Use

  3. To bleach the wood, add 330 ml of PAREO PREP per liter of warm water and mix. For regular cleaning, add 125 ml of PAREO PREP per liter of warm water and mix.
  4. Always perform a test of the product on a small area before use.
  1. Apply the mixture to the dry surface using a sprayer, floor brush, or paintbrush.
  2. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Reapply the solution if it dries during the waiting time; the surface should remain well-saturated with the product.
  4. Scrub the surface with a stripping brush and rinse thoroughly with plenty of water OR use a high-pressure water jet (1000 to 3000 psi) to remove the stain. Rinse until all foam is eliminated.
  5. Allow the wood to dry completely before repeating the application if necessary or before applying a new finishing product.

Water

Intensive cleaning and whitening : 1:3
Mix 1 L of Pareo Prep with 3 L of warm water.

Regular cleaning : 1:8
Mix 1 L of Pareo Prep with 8 L of warm water.

Protect from freezing. If the product has been exposed to cold temperatures, allow it to return to room temperature for 24-48 hours before using.

Store in an airtight container at a temperature between 10°C and 25°C. The product has a shelf life of 12 months under these conditions.

Wipe off any liquid residue before recycling this container.

Consult your municipality for proper disposal of any remaining product.
